Research interests: I am interested in weed science, weed biology and weed taxonomy in general. My PhD focused on the study of populations of corn poppy (Papaver rhoeas) resistant to herbicides in winter cereals in Catalonia: the biology, chemical and non-chemical control methods, integrated weed management, modelling the population dynamics and bio-economy for decision support. In addition, I contribute to the characterization of the biodiversity of weeds in dryland cereals in the semi-arid region of Spain, in order to understand the effects of different manage systems on plant biodiversity. Finally, I am interested in Bromus diandrus biology in winter cereals in no-till systems.
